2nd Annual Carroll Homecoming Carnival and Community Pep Rally

Join us as Carroll Student Council hosts the second annual homecoming carnival this fall!

This year’s homecoming theme is “Technologic,” and the carnival begins at 5:00pm on Wednesday, October 7th to kickoff the celebration.

This year's carnival is going to be even bigger and better than last year! We will have a Kids’ Zone with assorted inflatable activities provided by Let’s Jump in Keller (only $1 each) - from obstacle courses to rock climbing to soccer - as well as a 2,000 square foot gaming tent presented by Affinity Sports and Event Marketing (with unlimited access for only $3). In addition, there will be food vendors and various groups hosting their own carnival booths (individual booth costs will vary). For your entertainment, we will have a stage featuring live music! We will also be having a silent auction with many intriguing items. There will be different local restaurants selling food at their booths (Fish City Grill, Planet Burrito, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Woolley’s and more).

Come out for food, games, and fun for the whole family!

Then, right after the Carnival (8:00), head into Dragon Stadium for the Community Pep Rally. Be prepared to be amazed by performances featuring the Dragon Band, Belles, and cheerleaders as they get the crowd excited for the Homecoming game on the 9th. In addition, the 2009 Homecoming Court will be presented in a ceremony at the pep rally, followed by a surprise at the end! This too, is an event you won't want to miss!

Homecoming Football Game @ Dragon Stadium again Coppell on Friday, October 9 @ 7:30pm

You’ll want to arrive EARLY to the game as the Homecoming Court and the crowing of the Homecoming King and Queen will take place BEFORE the game at 7:00 pm.

Homecoming Dance at the Gaylord Texan from 8:00-midnight on Saturday, October 10

The Technologic Homecoming Dance will then take place October 10th from 8:00-midnight at the Gaylord in Grapevine. (Park on the ground floor of the first garage for $10 or $15 for valet.) Tickets are $40 per couple or $30 for single tickets. Tickets will be sold only to Carroll students (no out of district guests) at the door for $30 each. Tickets will go on sale Monday, September 21 during lunch—every day in the Carroll Apparel store @ CSH and in the cafeteria on A days. The DJ will, again, be Pro DJ Entertainment from KISS-FM.

Any student bringing a guest from out of district must have an escort form filled out, signed by an administrator from the ESCORT’s school, and approved by CHS or CSH administration prior to buying tickets. All ESCORTS must be between the ages of 13-20. Forms can be picked up at either CSH or CHS or download from http://www.quia.com/pages/carrollhomecoming09.html

The DRESS CODE at the dance is cocktail length dresses for the girls and dress pants and shirt and tie for the boys, jacket optional.

The photographer who will be set up to take pictures at the dance is RCT Photography. Photo information will be available when students purchase tickets.

Due to health concerns, students will be required to wear shoes AT ALL TIMES. All dancing will be face-to-face. If a student is asked to leave due to behavior, no refunds will be issued.

Students and Escorts will need both a ticket and picture ID to enter the dance. No one will be allowed to enter once the doors are closed at 9:30 (no refunds for late arrivals). No re-entries are allowed.
